there's an old SNES game I played when I was little. It's called
Super James Pond. Despite the whimsical name the game is everything but whimsical. The second level features teddy bears that look almost alive, they have the eyes of beings that have seen lives of only trepidition. They sit locked in a room among layers of their decapitated body parts.
I can only vouch that this game was made by a very twisted soul. I had no idea what I was getting into; there was no warning on the box. The horror of it all follows me to this day.
